Pastor Jaime Mendez was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 2007 he began attending Pensacola Christian College to prepare for a pastoral career. In 2010, he relocated to Columbus, Ohio to continue training for ministry at Calvary Bible Baptist Church. At that time, he met his wife, Sara, and they were married two years later in 2013. In 2015, he received his Advanced Biblical Studies degree from Liberty University while serving as Associate Pastor at Gospel Baptist Church of Greenville in Greenville, Ohio. The Mendez Family relocated to Wilmington, North Carolina in 2018 and began serving in ministry at Covenant Church in January 2019. Pastor Jaime is thankful for the blessing of Covenant Church and the genuine, loving congregation who serves alongside him.
